When the era of “artist-direct” ended in a bad dream, the tech giants dealt with the music giants and made it so difficult for any music outside their influence to surface. SoundCloud.com and YouTube.com became two of the surviving venues as repositories for undiscovered music. So I thought my music sherpa ideas would be needed for these sites. I asked the musicians I knew to help me find music that they thought worthy for a listen.
