EARLY ROOTS OF JAZZ | Open Source Music

early-roots-of-jazz-cover5_stars-svg“A Devilishly Enjoyable Listen!”

Listen for free. This compilation of rare Jazz recordings has been “Mastered For Streaming,”  making this music headphone friendly for the first time.  The original recordings sound almost new and by eliminating the excessive noises from the original transfer from cylinder or 78 disc. This music has stood the test of time. It’s been carefully preserved from the original recordings by music lovers. The music was recorded when Jazz had just started to receive worldwide attention. These little known songs were selected as essential to the spread of Jazz as a worldwide popular genre. Because of early recording limitations these songs were recorded without a traditional drum kit, which is seems to be a requirement in all  modern jazz recordings. This compilation is an enjoyable romp thru music’s history, and a must listen for serious jazz fans.

Husband, Father, I founded and was the chief record producer of Beserkley Records. We had international hits and established the careers of Jonathan Richman, Greg Kihn, The Rubinoos, and Earth Quake. "In the 80's I witnessed the new digital technologies that would change music forever, and then I hoped to enable music lovers worldwide to enjoy more music with these new technologies. I founded Fun Fun Fun Recordings to make more “out of the box” recordings I’ve come to enjoy.
