About
Even as a child, I felt the need to communicate with everyone. I searched for the universal language to do that. Music is that language, but it was still so difficult to communicate to everyone in the world, I felt frustrated. Then things got digital and went worldwide. The next universal language the way I see it is HTML on the WWW. This site is dedicated to the open source movement that bridges the divide between these languages on the Internet.
- By definition, music should be viewed as the first programming language to be used in an open source context.
- Opensourcemusic.com was designed to help spread the word about where to find open source music
- We also make and post podcasts of the music we’ve found that we enjoy.
- Thanks for taking the time to read this, we hope you enjoy some of the music we’re linking to.
